  1. Greetings! This is my first blog post working on the vex robot "Dewey", which we are prepping to compete with at the skills USA "urban search and rescue". I am the PM competitor working on Dewey,with my partner ,Chris, working in the AM on the same robot(THANK YOU for working on it and keeping updates).

    ``````````-THINGS TO WORK ON-`````````;
    1.)As mentioned before by Chris, the claw opens very slowly and closes quite fast. This will be a problem,since we have to perfect the "Arm Mechanism" on our robot, which will be 150 points in the competition.
    2.) Updating the Engineering Technician Notebook should be a focused priority, so that having a presentation with demonstrations of day-by day updates will increase our quality content.
    3.)we should replace the smaller front wheels with omni wheels,for more stability.
    4.)I suggest grouping the wires together with zip ties for a cleaner look.
    ```````````-WHAT I DID TODAY-```````;

    The motor that turns the arm vertically had a shaft that wasn't long enough to make contact with the gear. Therefore it wasn't turning properly,the motor aimlessly spun but did affect the gears. I replaced it with a longer shaft,so it operates as intended.
